Hank's Down South to Host Live Music Benefit for Philippines Typhoon Disaster Relief

Saturday's event will feature eight live musical acts, raffles, food and more to benefit Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief.

Take a break from your holiday shopping on Saturday, Dec. 14 and head to Hank's Down South, located at 33 State Street in Narragansett, to enjoy an all day/all night lineup of live local bands and homestyle smoked BBQ for a good cause. 

The event will begin at noon and is free admission with a suggested donation at the door. In addition to live entertainment, guests can enjoy appetizer samples, and the restaurant's full BBQ menu and craft beer selection. 

Prizes donated by local RI businesses will be raffled off throughout the day and all proceeds, as well as a portion of Hank's sales and tips, will be donated to Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief.

12-1 p.m. - James DeSalvo
1-2 p.m. - Bill Gannon
2-3 p.m. - Gregg Laboissonniere
3-4 p.m. - Joanne Lurgio
4-6 p.m. - Paul Colombino
6-7 p.m. - Tom Burgess
7-9 p.m. - James and the Giants
9-10:30 p.m. - Sun Green

"The most intense tropical storm to ever make landfall struck the Philippines on November 8, 2013. At 300 miles across, Typhoon Haiyan affected millions and survivors still need our help," read the Hank's Down South event page. "During this season of giving, help us this Saturday to offer our support."
