Your Guide: Courthouse Center for the Arts to Host Inaugural RI Authors Expo

The Nov. 16 expo will feature dozens of local authors, refreshments and special guests.

On Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Association of Rhode Island Authors (ARIA) will hold the 1st Annual Rhode Island Authors Expo at the Courthouse Center for the Arts, located at 3481 Kingstown Road in West Kingston.

The Expo is believed to be the first of its kind in Rhode Island, and will feature as many as 40 local authors who have published in a wide variety of disciplines -- from romance, mystery and horror to history, biography and children's books. Autographed books will be available for purchase and a list of participating authors will be posted on ARIA's website, www.RIAuthors.org

Parking and admission to the event are free.

The Rhode Island Authors Expo is co-sponsored by the Rhode Island Center for the Book, the Courthouse Center for the Arts and Stillwater River Publications.
