SK Planning Board to Hold West Kingston Village Workshop Tuesday

The workshop will focus on West Kingston's future growth, protection, preservation and improvement.

From 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, the South Kingstown Planning Department and Board will host a West Kingston Village Study workshop for residents in the cafeteria of West Kingston Elementary School (3119 Ministerial Rd.)

The workshop and accompanying presentation will be led by consultants from the Horsley Witten Group in cooperation with the South Kingstown Planning Department. It is intended to build on the public discussion at the first workshop held on Mar. 19, 2013.

Participants attending the forum will receive updates about current and future projects in the area, including the commuter rail expansion, bike path parking and other projects impacting the village.
