THE AMERICAN BAND PRESENTS 2013-2014 CONCERT SERIES

The American Band will perform the first concert of a two concert series at the University of Rhode Island in the Fine Arts Center Concert Hall.  Tickets are $12.00 and $7.00 for students and are available at the door.  The first is Sunday November 17, 2013 and the second concert will be held on April 6, 2014.

The American Band is one of the oldest concert bands in the country, and is currently under the direction of Dr. Brian Cardany.  Selections the band will perform include Canzona by Peter Mennin,  First Suite In E Flat for Military Band by Gustav Holst, and Suite of Old American Dances by Robert Russell Bennett, along with additional works.
