Meredith Haas, Neighbor

A Baltimore native and Ravens fan, Meredith came to Rhode Island in 2002, joining the URI women's tennis team and graduating with degrees in Journalism and Biology. After studying abroad in New Zealand and a brief stint in Alaska, she left the Rhode Island coast for a two-year hiatus in Wyoming where she worked for the National Outdoor Leadership School and Wyoming Game and Fish. She moved back to Narragansett in 2009 and works for the Rhode Island Sea Grant as their Research Communications Specialist. She is an avid rock climber, skier, surfer, kayaker, backpacker and adventurer.
