PD Parking Lot Run Ends in Arrest

According to South Kingstown police, a man tries to elude arrest by running through their parking lot. South Kingstown police logs from April 9, 2013.

Man Tries to Evade Police by Running Through Police Parking Lot Joshua Allen Robinson, 20, of 364 Curtis Corner Road, Apt. #B11, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 7:59 a.m. on April 9 and charged with resisting arrest. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was also out for his arrest. According to police, on April 8 officers received word that a warrant was out for Robinson’s arrest. Jamestown Man Charged With 2nd DUI

Jamestown Man Charged With Drunken Driving – Second Offense Joseph D. Pinheiro, 26, of 161 Beacon Ave., Jamestown, was arrested at about 11:59 p.m. on March 25 and charged with drunken driving – second offense – and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, they received a report of a car accident involving Pinheiro’s vehicle rear-ending another car. Police said that evidence on the scene and a statement from the other driver indicated that Pinheiro rear-ended a grey Volvo, and then his Jeep Cherokee flipped over into the woods near the Prout School on…

Inmate Charged With 6 More Felony Domestic Offenses

Jason Morris, who is already serving a year at the ACI, is charged with six more felony counts for violating a no-contact order.

Morris, 27, of the ACI in Cranston and formerly of Wakefield, was arrested at about 9:19 a.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with six felony counts of violating a no-contact order. According to police, they received multiple complaints from a woman about Morris’ behavior. The woman said that between Jan. 9 and Feb. 12, Morris had made multiple attempts to contact her. Police said that the woman provided them with letters from Morris that mentioned her. Police also found calls logged from the ACI to the woman’s home, from a family member of Morris to the victim, and from a …

4th Arrest for SKHS Student for Domestic Offenses

Matthew Sklarski, 18, is charged with three more counts of violating a no-contact order.

Sklarski, 18, of 44 Mulberry Drive, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 30 and charged with three counts of violating a no-contact order. Police said Sklarski is a student at South Kingstown High School. According to police, the neighbors of an 18-year-old South Kingstown woman called them, complaining that Sklarski and the woman were arguing with one another again. SKHS Student Charged With 3rd Domestic

Matthew Sklarski, 18, is charged with violating a no-contact order for a second time, his third arrest.

Sklarski, 18, of 44 Mulberry Drive, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 2:11 a.m. on Dec. 22 and charged with violating a no-contact order. According to police, at about 1:54 a.m. on Dec. 22 they received a report of a couple arguing at an apartment building in the South County Commons. Police said that two witnesses told them that they heard yelling, and then what sounded like someone punching a wall. South Kingstown Man Charged With Vandalism Tyler H. Foley, 25, of 319 Gooseberry Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 5:51 p.m. on Nov. 19 and charged with vandalism. According to police, they received a report of a man spray painting on the South Kingstown Water Tower property on Victoria Lane near Brousseau Park. Police said that according to several witnesses, the man – later identified as Foley – had run from the scene when he was discovered. South Kingstown Man Charged With Domestic Assault Paul Goscinski, 55, of 205 Kettle Pond Drive, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 30 and charged with domestic assault. According to police, a woman told police that Goscinski was heavily intoxicated and had slapped her. The woman also told police that he was unstable and had access to firearms. As a result, police said they told Goscinski to lay face down on the ground. When he refused, officers took him to the ground and arrested him. Because of the arrest, 14 firearms – rifles and handguns – were seized …
