SK Police Log: December 30, 2012

A South Kingstown man suspected of overdosing is likely to face multiple domestic charges at court.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Domestic Offenses; Future Charges Likely Jason M. Morris, 27, of 499 High St., South Kingstown, was arrested at about 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 and charged with domestic violation of a no-contact order and larceny less than $1,500. According to police, a woman at a High Street home told police that Morris had passed out in a bedroom of the home after taking drugs. Prior to passing out, the woman told police that he had taken her credit card. Police said a review of the scene and Morris’ condition was consistent with the woman’s story. A no-contact …

SK Police Log: December 5 and 6, 2012

A couple is charged with domestic offenses, and a teen is charged with felony assault with a screwdriver.

Husband, Wife Charged With Domestic Offenses Joseph R. Miller, 52, of 52 Petal Lane, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:11 a.m. on Dec. 6 and charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct. His wife, Melanie J. Boylan, 50, of 52 Petal Lane, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 12:58 p.m. on Dec. 6 and charged with domestic disorderly conduct. According to police, warrants were issued for both following an incident on Nov. 30. Details of this incident were not included in police reports of the two’s arrest. A South Kingstown man is charged with vandalism after police allegedly find graffiti.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Vandalism Tyler H. Foley, 25, of 319 Gooseberry Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 5:51 p.m. on Nov. 19 and charged with vandalism. According to police, they received a report of a man spray painting on the South Kingstown Water Tower property on Victoria Lane near Brousseau Park. Police said that according to several witnesses, the man – later identified as Foley – had run from the scene when he was discovered. Scavenger Hunt Gone Wild in South Kingstown

South Kingstown police deal with three reports of vandalism and other incidents related to the annual high school scavenger hunt.

According to police, they dealt with several vandalism complaints on Saturday night, stemming from the annual South Kingstown High School senior class scavenger hunt. The hunt is not a school-sanctioned event. Police said they received the following complaints: - At about 12:50 a.m. on Nov. 4, police received a report of a vandalized car at Old Mountain Field. Narragansett Man Charged With Drunken Driving Peter D. Alling, 50, of 221 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 1:32 a.m. on Sept. 17 and charged with drunken driving. According to South Kingstown police, Narragansett dispatchers issued a bulletin for a blue pick-up truck driving erratically at the intersection of Point Judith Road and Woodruff Avenue. Hope Valley Man Refuses to Leave Kabuki’s, Has A Word or Two for ‘Government Pigs’ Nicholas W. Mack, 24, of 59 Thurston Drive, Hope Valley, was arrested at about 1:48 a.m. on Sept. 2 and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, vandalism and trespassing. According to police, shortly after midnight they received a request from the owner of Kabuki’s to issue a no-trespass order to Mack. Wakefield Man Allegedly Defiant About Second DWI David A. Arundel, 32, of 44 Winter St., Wakefield, was arrested at about 12:53 a.m. on Aug. 24 and charged with drunken driving, second offense. He was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, an officer monitoring traffic on Kingstown Road near Rhody Joe’s clocked a car driven by Arundel at 48 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone. NK Woman Charged With Felony B+E

Erica Chesebro, 24, is charged with felony breaking and entering after breaking into an ex’s home and assaulting a female friend.

Chesebro, 24, of 43 Hendrick Ave., North Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:18 p.m. on Aug. 20 and charged with felony breaking and entering, and misdemeanor charges of vandalism, assault and larceny less than $1,500. According to police, they were called to a home on Walmsley Lane at about 5:32 p.m., for a report of an assault. According to police, after finishing with the monitoring of the nightly closing of the Ocean Mist, a security guard at Mary Carpenter Beach Meadows flagged them down. A Warwick man is charged with assault and vandalism, and police cite two others for licenses.

Warwick Man Charged With Assault, Vandalism Douglas Authelet, 36, of 54 Cambridge Ave., Warwick, was arrested at about 10:12 p.m. on Aug. 10 and charged with assault and vandalism. According to police, they were called to Casey’s Grill and Bar after receiving a report of an assault. A 45-year-old Narragansett man told police that Authelet had assaulted him in the dining room. Police said that according to witnesses, the dispute had been broken up by patrons in the dining room.
