Gansett Woman Charged With 2nd DUI

Police say that a driver almost hits an officer on a traffic stop, leading to a DUI charge. South Kingstown police logs from May 4, 2013.

Narragansett Woman Charged With 2nd DUI Melanie J. Paolozzi, 60, of 24 Lakeview Drive, Narragansett, was arrested at about 11:01 p.m. on May 4 and charged with drunken driving second offense, resisting arrest and felony drug possession, and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test and driving in possession of a controlled substance. After additional investigation, the felony drug possession and driving in possession of a controlled substance charges were not filed. A husband and wife are both arrested for warrants after police investigate an unrelated matter.

Husband and Wife Arrested for Warrants John Ingram, 38, of 364 Curtis Corner Road, Apt. #B14, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 9:19 p.m. on Jan. 22. His wife, Karen O’Brien Ingram, 43, of 160 Superior St., Providence, was arrested at about 1:57 a.m. on Jan. 23. According to police, they were initially called to a home on Curtis Corner Road because of a DCYF investigation. Police said that during the investigation, they made contact with both Ingrams. A South Kingstown man is charged with cyberstalking, and an Ashaway man is charged with writing 11 fraudulent checks.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Domestic Vandalism, Cyberstalking James V. Horiagon, 46, of 330 Willard Ave., South Kingstown, was arrested at about 5:57 a.m. on Oct. 25 and charged with domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and domestic cyberstalking. According to police, a warrant had been issued for Horiagon’s arrest based on an incident earlier in the day involving a 45-year-old South Kingstown woman and two minors. Details were unavailable. According to police, a Hope Valley man doesn’t take too kindly to being barred from Kabuki.

Hope Valley Man Refuses to Leave Kabuki’s, Has A Word or Two for ‘Government Pigs’ Nicholas W. Mack, 24, of 59 Thurston Drive, Hope Valley, was arrested at about 1:48 a.m. on Sept. 2 and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, vandalism and trespassing. According to police, shortly after midnight they received a request from the owner of Kabuki’s to issue a no-trespass order to Mack. South Kingstown police made arrests on charges of domestic assault and trespassing on June 28.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Domestic Assault Brian James Wilson, 36, of 3674 Kingstown Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 12:40 a.m. on June 28 and charged with domestic simple assault. According to police, they received a report of a disturbance at Wilson’s home. The victim told police that the two got into an argument about Wilson’s drinking, during which he spit on her and grabbed her wrists, and she attempted to fight Wilson off. Wilson allegedly told police he had been drinking, and showed police scratches from where the victim had allegedly fought him off. …
