Wakefield Man Charged With Heroin Distribution

A Wakefield man with more than a dozen previous misdemeanors was charged with felony drug possession and distribution following a traffic stop last week. Kevin R. Choquette, 26, of 20 Victory St., Wakefield, was arrested at about 6:27 p.m. on June 22 and charged with two counts of felony drug distribution and one count of felony drug possession. According to police, Choquette was arrested at a traffic stop in the 600-section of Saugatucket Road. However, details of the traffic stop were unavailable. Police searched Choquette at headquarters, and allegedly found a small glassine baggy with heroin inside of it.
