Student Charged With Possession at SKHS

A student is charged with possession of marijuana at the high school. South Kingstown police logs from February 26 and 27, 2013.

SKHS Student Charged With Possession at School Joshua Landry, 19, of 2445 Post Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 11:45 a.m. on Feb. 26 and charged with possession of marijuana. According to police, school officials received reports of a marijuana smell coming from the bathroom on the first floor of the Hazard Building. Police said that school officials looked at students who were out of classes at the time, and determined that Landry was likely the one in the bathroom. Police said that school officials searched Landry’s backpack, which revealed marijuana in a plastic …

Police: Passenger Passes Out During Arrest

URI Student Charged With Possession of Marijuana; Passenger Passes Out Zackary Chadwick, 19, of 22 Balsam Lane, Smithfield, was arrested at about 8 p.m. on Feb. 15 and charged with possession of marijuana. Police said Chadwick is a student at the University of Rhode Island. According to police, an officer clocked a white Chevrolet Impala driven by Chadwick at 41 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone on Route 108. A traffic stop was made as a result. A University of Rhode Island student is charged with obstruction after trying repeatedly to enter a fire-damaged home with pot in it.

URI Student Charged With Obstruction For Entering Fire-Damaged Home James R. Jarmoszko, 21, of 265 Oakwoods Drive, Wakefield, was arrested at about 9:03 a.m. on Feb. 11 and charged with obstruction. Police said Jarmoszko is a student at the University of Rhode Island. According to police, an officer was posted at a home on Oakwoods Drive because a fire had taken place there the previous night. Police said access to the house was barred because it was under investigation by the fire marshal, both as a potential crime scene and for structural integrity, and also by detectives, …

A Narragansett man is charged with drunken driving – second offense – after swerving on Pond Street, police said.

Bolster, 55, of 66 Inez St., Narragansett, was arrested at about 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 26 and charged with drunken driving (second offense) and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, an officer traveling on Route 1 near Pond Street noted a pick-up truck swerving several times in front of him. A traffic stop was made on Tuckertown Road. Charlestown Man Charged With Possession of Cocaine

According to South Kingstown police, Carl R. Gross, 52, was found with cocaine after a traffic stop when his van was swerving.

Providence Man Charged With Domestic Assault Kevin R. Rollins, 45, of 32 Tanner St., Providence, was arrested at about 7:37 p.m. on Dec. 27 and charged with domestic assault. According to police, officers received an in-station complaint from a Peacedale woman that Rollins had broken her nose earlier that day. The woman told police she had just come from receiving treatment at South County Hospital. Fragomeni, 28, of 36 Shadow Farm Way, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:51 p.m. on Dec. 25 and charged with domestic assault. According to police, a 27-year-old South Kingstown woman said that Fragomeni had assaulted her during a verbal argument. South Kingstown Woman Charged With Assault Margaret Hazard, 55, of 188 High St., Apt. #A, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:42 p.m. on Dec. 24 and charged with assault. According to police, they received multiple reports of Hazard causing a disturbance on High Street via yelling and shouting. Kingston Woman Charged With Domestic Disorderly Conduct Vanessa E. Langevin, 29, of 43 Mountain Laurel Drive, Kingston, was arrested at about 8:38 p.m. on Dec. 1 and charged with domestic disorderly conduct. According to police, they received a phone call from the victim, who said that Langevin was causing a disturbance at his home and he wanted her removed. Police said when they arrived, they saw a several destroyed decorative pumpkins in the front yard, along with tire tracks. Pizza Delivery Man Charged With Possession of Marijuana, License Violation Alexander A. Ghanem, 20, of 155 Yawgoo Valley Road, Apt. #28C, Exeter, was arrested at about 8:05 p.m. on Nov. 30 and charged with possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. According to police, an officer familiar with Ghanem from past traffic stops recognized his car as one with an expired registration in the past. Police said a background check of the plate revealed that it was still expired, dating back to September 2011. As a result, police said a traffic stop was made on Route 1 …
