Christmas Decorations Stolen from Award-Winning Home
The winners of a previous Patch holiday lights contest had their decorations stolen this year.
Unless otherwise noted, information about the following incidents was supplied by the South Kingstown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. At about 7:29 a.m. on Dec. 2, police received a report of stolen Christmas decorations at 1991 Kingstown Road, the home of Donna and Wayne Rockwell. Police said that according to the Rockwells, the decorations were stolen on the nights of Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, in two separate incidents. The stolen decorations included: The items were valued by the Rockwells at about $220, however, they noted that several of the decorations were no longer sold and thus irreplaceable.
