Suspect to Girlfriend: ‘See You In A Couple of Years!’

David Harpool, 24, tells his girlfriend, “See you in a couple of years!” at the time of his arrest, police say.

Harpool, 24, of 149 Hamilton Ave., Jamestown, was arrested at about 8:20 p.m. on April 10 and charged with felony drug distribution and two counts of felony drug possession. According to police, officers working a security detail at the Day Glow concert saw Harpool conduct a hand-to-hand sale with an unknown man in the Plains Road parking lot. As a result, police said they approached Harpool and asked him what was in a backpack in his car. Details of Search, Seizure at URI Raid Released

According to police, several roommates conspired to steal laptops and other goods from people using the gym at Mackal Fieldhouse.

A fraudulent purchase of a foot-tall glass water pipe led to the raid of an apartment shared by University of Rhode Island students on Feb. 6, South Kingstown police said. According to police, they received a report of a stolen Mastercard, which was used by Opeyemi N. Onipede, 19, of 35 Stansbury St., Providence, at Absolut Market on Fortin Road to purchase the pipe. As a result, arrest warrants were issued for Onipede, along with Jaquan Smith, 19, and Gibran Gonzalez, 20, of 701 Manton Ave., Apt. #2, Providence. All three were …

Providence Man Charged With Felony Drug Distribution

South Kingstown police arrest Justin Blake Hart, 23, after he allegedly sells heroin to an informant.

Unless otherwise noted, information about the following incidents was supplied by the South Kingstown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. Justin Blake Hart, 23, of 119 Almy St., Apt. #3, Providence, was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 and charged with two counts of felony heroin distribution. According to police, at about 4:15 p.m. they received a tip from an informant that Hart would be coming into town at 9 p.m. to sell heroin. Police said that Hart already had a warrant out for his arrest because of a controlled heroin buy conducted by the department on Nov. 27. Suspended Sentence Issued for Felony Drug Plea

Howard Courtemanche, 28, is ordered to serve two years probation and a two-year suspended sentence for various cocaine offenses.

Howard Courtemanche, 28, of 604 Stony Fort Road, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest on Jan. 23 to South Kingstown police charges of felony cocaine distribution and driving with an invalid license. Courtemanche was ordered to serve a year of probation and a year-long suspended sentence, to complete substance abuse counseling and to pay $1,059 in fines and assessments. In return for his plea, additional charges of felony drug distribution near school grounds, felony drug possession and possession of marijuana were dismissed. AG Declines to Move Forward on 3 Cases

Three unrelated local cases are dismissed after the attorney general's office decides not to prosecute.

Narragansett Man Charged With Dealing Cocaine

Timothy Doyle Cullen, 33, is being held without bail after selling undercover officers cocaine.

Timothy Doyle Cullen, 33, of 6 Rockland St., Apt. A, Narragansett, was arrested at about 5:08 p.m. on Nov. 29 and charged with four felony counts of distribution and one felony count of possession of a narcotic. According to police, they received information from an informant during the week of Nov. 25 that Cullen was selling cocaine, heroin, Percocets and marijuana from the parking lot of Belmont Market and Starbuck’s. Father and Son Charged With Growing Marijuana

Kevin L. White, 49, and William Andrade, 23, are charged with felony drug possession after police allegedly find 29 marijuana plants and four pounds of pot at their home.

White, 49, and William Andrade, 23, of 248 Holly Road, South Kingstown, were arrested at about 3:02 p.m. on Oct. 20 and charged with two felony counts each of cultivation of marijuana and hashish, and possession of marijuana, second offense. Police said White is Andrade’s father. White was also charged with assault. According to police, a no-knock search warrant was obtained for their home, based on an ongoing drug investigation. URI Student Charged With 3 Counts of Marijuana Distribution

Alexander G. Brown, 21, is charged with distribution after police record two marijuana buys via an informant.

Brown, 21, of 192 Fleetwood Drive, Saunderstown, was arrested at about noon on Aug. 14 and charged with three counts of felony drug distribution. Police said Brown is a student at the University of Rhode Island, and he is in the university’s online directory. According to police, on Aug. 13 an informant made a controlled buy from Brown while under the surveillance of South Kingstown police. Stephanie Dawn Sousa, 21, of 49 Orchard Ave., Apt. #3, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 16 and charged with three felony counts of possession, and also possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. According to police, at noon they received a report of a man – identified as Seth E. Johnson, 23, of 1213 Kingstown Road, Wakefield – overdosing on heroin at Sousa’s apartment. Newport Man Charged With Felony Pot Distribution

Steven C. Robinson, 24, is charged with felony drug distribution after he runs with a backpack with 58.5 grams of marijuana.

Robinson, 24, of 43 Evans St., Newport, was arrested at about 2:35 p.m. on Aug. 4 and charged with felony drug distribution. According to police, an officer monitoring traffic on Tri Pond Court near Dam Street and Kingstown Road saw a gray Jetta drive through the stop sign at Kingstown without stopping. A traffic stop was made on Kingstown Road near Kersey Road. Police said that the driver – Mason E.
