SK Police Log: October 3, 2012

A Connecticut woman is charged with drunken driving even though she’s not speeding.

Connecticut Woman Charged With Drunken Driving Marissa E. Digioia, 21, of 52 Valley Break South Road, Branford, CT, was arrested at about 12:21 a.m. on Oct. 3 and charged with drunken driving. According to police, an officer monitoring traffic on Matunuck Beach Road near the Vanilla Bean saw a car drifting and swerving, and then traveling in the breakdown lane on Route 1. A traffic stop was made near Jerry Brown Farm Road. Police said that when asked for her license, registration and insurance info, Digioia handed them her license, registration and her college course schedule. …

A South Kingstown man is charged with disorderly conduct, and police cite several for alcohol, licenses and warrants.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct Nathan J. Fasching, 40, of 24 Tri-Pond Court, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 4:51 p.m. on Oct. 2 and charged with disorderly conduct. According to police, Fasching called them to report an assault at his home. However, police said that while attempting to interview Fasching and two people involved about the incident, he refused to cooperate. Police said that Fasching continually screamed and yelled at the two people, despite given repeated verbal warnings and separated from them. After a final warning, Fasching was …

A Narragansett man is charged with drunken driving, and an assault at the hospital leads to arrests.

Narragansett Man Charged With Drunken Driving Peter D. Alling, 50, of 221 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 1:32 a.m. on Sept. 17 and charged with drunken driving. According to South Kingstown police, Narragansett dispatchers issued a bulletin for a blue pick-up truck driving erratically at the intersection of Point Judith Road and Woodruff Avenue. A former URI track star is charged with drunken driving, and a South Kingstown man is charged after yelling at a man who sent him to jail.

New York Man, Former URI Track Captain Charged With Smelly Drunken Driving Nicholas M. Guscott, 21, of 1449 Coolidge Ave., North Baldwin, NY, was arrested at about 5:49 a.m. on Sept. 9 and charged with drunken driving. According to police, they received a report of a grey Hyundai Sonata off the road and in a ditch on Middlebridge Road. Police said when they approached the car, Guscott was in the passenger seat, asleep. Hope Valley Man Refuses to Leave Kabuki’s, Has A Word or Two for ‘Government Pigs’ Nicholas W. Mack, 24, of 59 Thurston Drive, Hope Valley, was arrested at about 1:48 a.m. on Sept. 2 and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, vandalism and trespassing. According to police, shortly after midnight they received a request from the owner of Kabuki’s to issue a no-trespass order to Mack. Cranston Man Charged With Vandalism, Resisting Arrest Philip M. Doucett, 20, of 27 Waterman Ave., Apt. #3, Cranston, was arrested at about 1:26 a.m. on Aug. 15 and charged with vandalism and resisting arrest. According to police, after finishing with the monitoring of the nightly closing of the Ocean Mist, a security guard at Mary Carpenter Beach Meadows flagged them down. The guard told them that a white man with no shirt had punched out the window of a passing car. A man is arrested after he’s allegedly found on the roof of South Kingstown Town Hall.

Drinkin’ On The Roof of Town Hall – Peacedale Teen Charged With Disorderly Conduct Carl M. Pierson, 19, of 267 Church St., Peacedale, was arrested at about 4:32 p.m. on Aug. 8 and charged with disorderly conduct. According to police, they received a complaint of an intoxicated man on the roof of South Kingstown Town Hall, next to an air conditioning unit by the town manager’s office. Narragansett Man Charged With Domestic Assault Marc A. Vallee Sr., 43, of 6 Algonquin Trail, Narragansett, was arrested at about 3:19 p.m. on July 31 and charged with domestic assault. According to police, the arrest was the result of an incident on July 20 with a 43-year-old Narragansett woman. Details of that incident were unavailable. Lewis, 44, of 290 Church St., South Kingstown, was arrested at about 2:15 p.m. on July 24 and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. According to police, three separate and escalating incidents led to Lewis’ arrest. Police said they first responded to an apartment on Church Street at about 10:12 a.m. to break up an argument, and at that point, Lewis said he would leave and take a bus to Providence. Man Driving Without License Tells Friends To Smoke Up Jared M. Sweet, 19, of 484 High St., Apt. #2B, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:46 a.m. on July 5 and charged with driving without a license. According to police, two officers were in an unmarked car in the CVS parking lot on July 2 when Sweet parked a car behind them. Police said they were familiar with him from past contacts, and confirmed with a dispatcher that he did not have a license.
