SK Police Log: October 23, 24 and 25, 2012

A South Kingstown man is charged with cyberstalking, and an Ashaway man is charged with writing 11 fraudulent checks.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Domestic Vandalism, Cyberstalking James V. Horiagon, 46, of 330 Willard Ave., South Kingstown, was arrested at about 5:57 a.m. on Oct. 25 and charged with domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and domestic cyberstalking. According to police, a warrant had been issued for Horiagon’s arrest based on an incident earlier in the day involving a 45-year-old South Kingstown woman and two minors. Details were unavailable. Narragansett Police Log: October 17 and 18, 2012

A Narragansett man adds drunken driving, second offense, to his other court charges of cyberstalking and fighting.

Unless otherwise noted, information about the following incidents was supplied by the Narragansett Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. Narragansett Man Charged With Drunken Driving (Again) Joseph A. Blainey, 23, of 40 Overlook Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 12:51 a.m. on Oct. 17 and charged with drunken driving – second offense – and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, an officer saw a green Mercury Grand Marquis swerving on Point Judith Road near Foddering Farm Road. As a result, a traffic stop was made near Sunset Farm. Police said that while speaking with Blainey, he smelled strongly of alcohol. When asked where he was coming from, he told police, “A big party.” …

Police charge a Narragansett man with cyberstalking, and a texting Wyoming woman with drunken driving.

CCRI Student Charged With Cyberstalking Joseph A. Blainey, 23, of 40 Overlook Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 10:25 a.m. on Sept. 8 and charged with cyberstalking, with a domestic offense modifier. Police said Blainey is a student at the Community College of Rhode Island. According to police, at about 3:26 p.m. on Sept. 5 they received a report from a 19-year-old South Kingstown woman about Blainey’s behavior.
