Man Ordered to Surrender Gun for Felony Plea

Douglas Authelet, 37, is ordered to surrender a firearm in return for his plea to a felony charge.

Douglas Authelet, 37, of 54D Cambridge Ave., Warwick, pleaded no contest on March 11 to a North Kingstown police felony charge of carrying a pistol without a license. Authelet was ordered to pay $450 in assessments, and to forfeit the firearm. A deferred sentence was also imposed. In return for his plea, an additional charge of carrying a weapon while under the influence was dismissed. According to South Kingstown and North Kingstown police reports included in court files, in August 2012 Authelet assaulted a man in the dining room of Casey’s Grill and Bar. Authelet …

Two Men Accuse Each Other of Fighting

Police arrest two South Kingstown men after they accuse one another of fighting over noise coming from an apartment. South Kingstown police logs from March 21, March 22, March 23 and March 24, 2013.

Two South Kingstown Men Charged With Assault, Disorderly Conduct Over Noise John G. Mischler, 34, of 164 Allen Ave., South Kingstown, and Shane R. Dimon, 31, of 164 Allen Ave., South Kingstown, were arrested at about 7:28 a.m. on March 24 and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. According to police, both Dimon and Mischler claimed that a fight broke out over the noise coming from Dimon’s apartment. Each claimed that the other was the aggressor in the fight. A South Kingstown man suspected of overdosing is likely to face multiple domestic charges at court.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Domestic Offenses; Future Charges Likely Jason M. Morris, 27, of 499 High St., South Kingstown, was arrested at about 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 and charged with domestic violation of a no-contact order and larceny less than $1,500. According to police, a woman at a High Street home told police that Morris had passed out in a bedroom of the home after taking drugs. Prior to passing out, the woman told police that he had taken her credit card. Police said a review of the scene and Morris’ condition was consistent with the woman’s story. A no-contact …

A South Kingstown woman is charged with assault, and a high schooler is charged with possession.

South Kingstown Woman Charged With Assault Margaret Hazard, 55, of 188 High St., Apt. #A, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:42 p.m. on Dec. 24 and charged with assault. According to police, they received multiple reports of Hazard causing a disturbance on High Street via yelling and shouting. A 22-year-old Peacedale man also told police that Hazard had punched him in the face. Police said an initial attempt to locate Hazard at about 6:20 p.m. was unsuccessful, but after more complaints she was found and arrested about two hours later. Husband, Wife Charged With Domestic Offenses Joseph R. Miller, 52, of 52 Petal Lane, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:11 a.m. on Dec. 6 and charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct. His wife, Melanie J. Boylan, 50, of 52 Petal Lane, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 12:58 p.m. on Dec. 6 and charged with domestic disorderly conduct. URI Student Charged With Assault, Disorderly Conduct Emily P. Davenport, 20, of 300 Waterman Hill Road, Greene, was arrested at about 1:16 a.m. on Oct. 14 and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. Police said Davenport is a student at the University of Rhode Island. According to police, they received a report of a woman fighting with people and yelling obscenities on Community Drive. Narragansett Man Charged With Drunken Driving Peter D. Alling, 50, of 221 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 1:32 a.m. on Sept. 17 and charged with drunken driving. According to South Kingstown police, Narragansett dispatchers issued a bulletin for a blue pick-up truck driving erratically at the intersection of Point Judith Road and Woodruff Avenue. South Kingstown Teen Charged With Domestic Offenses, Assaults Blake Ann Lopes, 19, of 182 North Road. Apt. #A, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 7:50 p.m. on Aug. 29 and charged with domestic disorderly conduct, domestic vandalism and two counts of assault. According to police, a family member reported that Lopes had attempted to break down the door to her apartment at about 3:30 p.m. Police noted that she had a piece of glass in her hand. North Kingstown Man Charged With Felony Assault Jacob M. McDonald, 21, of 123 Sweet Lane, North Kingstown, was arrested at about 10:20 a.m. on Aug. 20 and charged with felony assault. According to police, a warrant for McDonald’s arrest was issued after significant injuries from an assault on Oct. 29, 2011. Details of this assault were not included in the arrest report, but the victim is allegedly a 19-year-old man from Warwick. NK Woman Charged With Felony B+E

Erica Chesebro, 24, is charged with felony breaking and entering after breaking into an ex’s home and assaulting a female friend.

Chesebro, 24, of 43 Hendrick Ave., North Kingstown, was arrested at about 8:18 p.m. on Aug. 20 and charged with felony breaking and entering, and misdemeanor charges of vandalism, assault and larceny less than $1,500. According to police, they were called to a home on Walmsley Lane at about 5:32 p.m., for a report of an assault.
