Pawcatuck Woman, Substitute Teacher Charged With DWI Michelle M. Gaby, 45, of 12 Pawcatuck Ave., Pawcatuck, CT, was arrested at about 9:26 p.m. on Nov. 28 and charged with driving under the influence, and cited for not wearing a seat belt, laned roadway violations and failure to stop at a red light. Police said Gaby is a substitute teacher in the New London School System. According to police, an officer noted a Honda driven by Gaby go through a red light at the Dale Carlia intersection, forcing several other cars to stop to avoid a collision.
