Police Searching for Rx Fraud Suspect

According to Narragansett police, they’re looking for a man that got two prescriptions filled for 120 tablets of Oxycodone.

Unless otherwise noted, information about the following incidents was supplied by the Narragansett Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. According to the Rhode Island Most Wanted website, Narragansett Police are attempting to identify a male suspect who fraudulently obtained prescriptions on two occasions from the same pharmacy. Both incidents took place at the Rite Aid on Woodruff Avenue in Narragansett. The first theft allegedly took place on Dec. 11 at 2:49 p.m., followed by a second on Dec. 15. In both thefts, the male suspect presented false prescriptions for 120 tablets (30 mg) of Oxycodone. Narragansett Police Captain Sean Corrigan confirmed that the case remains open.
