Eco-Depot, E-Waste at Narragansett Town Beach May 19
Residents are encouraged to dispose of electronics and household hazardous waste at the event.
Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation will host a special waste collection in Narragansett on Saturday, May 19. This combination Eco-Depot and E-Waste event will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is available free of charge to Rhode Islanders. Both electronic and household hazardous waste will be collected at the South Pavilion of the Narragansett Town Beach. Household hazardous waste is collected separately from the state’s Central Landfill in order to protect humans, animals and the local environment. These are products that have warning labels indicating they are dangerous to human health because they are flammable, caustic, combustible or toxic. @ Tired - I always forget to take advantage. I have two computers just lying around the house, one a burnt out laptop from 2002 and the other a desktop tower from 2005 that I've re-purposed the other (usable) parts for.   more ›
