The New England Patriots host the Baltimore Ravens Gillette Stadium in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, battling for the right to go to their second straight Super Bowl, and sixth in the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick era. The NFL Championship Weekend begins Sunday at 3 p.m. on Fox when the Atlanta Falcons host the San Fransisco 49ers to determine the NFC champion. Then, at 6:30 p.m., on CBS, the Patriots kick off against rival Baltimore. Friday night is dominated by girls' sports, as the basketball and hockey teams are in action. The girls' basketball team (10-2, 8-0 Division II-South) looks to stay undefeated in Division II play against Mt. Hope (6-5, 5-3 Division II-South). Tip-off is at 7 p.m., with junior varsity at 5:15 p.m. The Narragansett, South Kingstown and North Kingstown girls' hockey co-op (2-6-1, 2-6 DeCosta Division) takes on the Cranston co-op (2-5-1, 2-5-1 DeCosta) at 8 p.m. The face-off is at the West Warwick Civic Center, making it a sort-of neutral ice game for the two teams.
