NK Man Charged With Felony Shoplifting

North Kingstown Man Charged With Felony Shoplifting from Marshall’s Erwin H. Robinson, 45, of 405 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. on April 24 and charged with felony shoplifting. According to police, they were called by store security, who had detained Robinson after filming him taking various items from the store and hiding them. Police said the total value of the items was $196.96, and included a pair of men’s Polo shorts, a pair of women’s Nike sneakers, and two pairs of women’s Coach sneakers. Police said Rodrigues is a student at Rhode Island College. According to police, an officer traveling behind a brown Nissan Maxima on Point Judith Road near Wayne Street noticed the car drifting multiple times. Police said they found Richard Frye, 20, and Tristan Edward Dixon Smith, 18, both of 200 Ten Rod Road, Exeter, in the area, dressed as the caller described. According to police, they received a report from an anonymous caller of a possible domestic disturbance at the intersection of Kingstown Road and Rockland Street. Police said McLaughlin had a Rhode Island State Police warrant out for her arrest for a charge of unlawful appropriation of property.
