A New York man is charged with vandalism after allegedly punching out a window, and several are arrested for warrants.

New York Man Charged With Vandalism, Also Arrested for Warrant Matthew Baldyga, 21, of 1708 Webster Ave., Merrick, NY, was arrested at about 2:53 a.m. on Oct. 6 and charged with vandalism. Police said a Narragansett Municipal Court warrant was also out for his arrest. According to police, multiple witnesses told them that Baldyga punched out a window at a home on Greene Lane, after getting into a verbal argument with a renter. Police said he was arrested without incident when he returned to the home, while they were interviewing witnesses. Police said Baldyga paid his outstanding …

A Portsmouth man is charged with violating a no-contact order in May.

Portsmouth Man Charged With Violating No-Contact Order Robert Furtado, 54, of 3338 East Main Road, Second Floor Apartment, Portsmouth, was arrested at about 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 5 and charged with violating a no-contact order. According to police, on May 17 they received a complaint from a 50-year-old woman with a no-contact order out against Furtado. The woman told police that he had tried to call her at her new residence several times since the order was issued on April 8. Narragansett Man Charged With Larceny from Roch’s, Also Has Two Warrants for Arrest Leslie Bernal, 32, of 1084 Boston Neck Road, Apt. #7, Narragansett, was arrested at about 9:15 a.m. on Sept. 22 and charged with larceny. Police said there were also two Sixth Division District Court warrants out for Bernal’s arrest. A shirtless hitchhiker is arrested, along with two fighting at the Coast Guard House.

Two College Students Arrested at Coast Guard House Jonathan J. Holland, 23, of 90 Fortin Road, South Kingstown, and Alexander Deluise, 24, of 290 Shawomet Ave., Warwick, were arrested at about 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 15 and charged with disorderly conduct. Police said Holland is a student at the Community College of Rhode Island, and Deluise is a student at the University of Rhode Island. According to police, a bouncer at the Coast Guard House told them that he had just told Holland and Deluise to leave for arguing. A Cumberland woman is charged with reneging on a deal for an armoire.

Cumberland Woman Arrested for Armoire Stolen in January Kathryn E. Draper, 41, of 3311 Mendon Road, Cumberland, was arrested at about 8:56 p.m. on Sept. 14 and charged with issuing a fraudulent check under $1,000 in value. According to police, in January they received a complaint from a Narragansett woman about a stolen armoire. The woman told police that the buyer – Draper – had arranged to purchase the armoire via Craigslist, but the check she had issued bounced. A Pawtucket woman is charged with domestic assault, and two college students are cited for driving violations.

Pawtucket Woman Charged With Domestic Assault Charlene A. Curran, 34, of 80 Calder St., Pawtucket, was arrested at about 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 29 and charged with domestic assault. According to police, a warrant was issued for Curran’s arrest following an incident on Aug. 5. Details of this incident were not included with Curran’s arrest report. Police said Curran was made aware of the warrant, and turned herself in on Aug. 29. After Accident, Narragansett Man Cited for Suspended License Richard J. Hill, 36, of 660 Point Judith Road, Apt. #D4, Narragansett, was cited at about 4:54 p.m. on Aug. 14 and charged with driving with a suspended license. According to police, officers were called to the Shell Gas Station on Point Judith Road after receiving a report of a three-car accident.
