West, 21, of 99 Isabella Ave., Providence, was arrested at about 2:57 a.m. on April 27 and charged with drunken driving, and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. Police said West is a student at Rhode Island College. According to police, an officer monitoring traffic noticed a silver Honda making a wide turn from Burnside Avenue to Point Judith Road. A Narragansett man tells police that his windshield and bumper have been cracked for two years.

An arrest does not indicate a conviction. “The cracks had been there for two years.” At about 2 a.m., an officer noted a 2004 Hyundai XG350 partially blocking traffic on the Dillon Rotary near the Route 1 on-ramp. Police said cars had to pull around the Hyundai, which was parked in the roadway. Police said the car was unoccupied, but the smell of burnt rubbed was in the air, and there were two large impact points in the middle of the windshield. Richmond Man Arrested for Warrant Francis J. Glawson, 21, of 2 Bridge View Drive, Richmond, was arrested at about 5:43 p.m. on Nov. 14. Police said a warrant was issued for Glawson’s arrest after he failed to appear at a Narragansett Municipal Court hearing related to a public urination citation.
