South Kingstown Man Arrested for Warrant James E. Hammar, 39, of 80 Samuel Rodman St., Apt. #217, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 11:04 p.m. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for Hammar’s arrest for failing to appear at a court hearing. According to police, Hammar filed a complaint about receiving harassing text messages and calls from an unknown woman. Party on Kingstown Road Leads to Alcohol Citations At about 12:19 a.m. on Sept. 29, police received a report of a loud party at 112 Kingstown Road. According to police, about 80 people were at the party, and bass vibrations from the noise could be felt two blocks away. Warwick Man Charged With Drunken Driving Dean E. Silva, 21, of 29 Montana Ave., Warwick, was arrested at about 1:19 a.m. on Sept. 9 and charged with drunken driving. According to police, an officer traveling on Point Judith Road near Maplehurst Drive clocked a car at 72 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. A traffic stop was made on Mariner Square.
