Four Cited for Licenses, Purse Turned In

Narragansett police cite four for license violations, and a teenager turns in a purse with $229.

Four Cited for License Violations - Phillip E. Thomas, 28, of 120 North Road, South Kingstown, was cited at about 4:42 p.m. on Feb. 14 and charged with driving with a suspended license. According to police, an officer monitoring traffic from Seaport Communications on Point Judith Road clocked a car driven by Thomas at 55 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. A traffic stop was made at Dunkin’ Donuts. Police said a background check revealed that Thomas’ license was suspended for failure to pay child support. Police arrest two Narragansett residents for license violations.

Narragansett Woman Arrested for Warrant, Suspended License Lorrie Sekator Williams, 55, of 77 Congdon St., Apt. #A, Narragansett, was arrested at about 5:07 p.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with driving with a suspended license. Police also noted that a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for her arrest. According to police, an officer familiar with Williams from previous arrested saw her driving on a silver Cadillac Escalade on South Pier Road. A traffic stop was made on Woodruff Avenue. Mom To Alleged Drunk Driver: Don’t Take Any Tests Adam J. Pisker, 22, of 141 Jennifer Drive, Hebron, CT, was arrested at about 2:33 a.m. on Feb. 2 and charged with drunken driving, and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, they received a report of a car crashing into a home on Highland Avenue. A South Kingstown teen is charged with drunken driving, and a stolen car and a sleeping driver are found.

South Kingstown Teen Charged With Drunken Driving Bradford W. Hathaway, 19, of 931 Kingstown Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 1:23 a.m. on Jan. 9 and charged with drunken driving and possession of marijuana, and cited for transportation of alcohol by a minor and refusing to submit to a chemical test. Police said Hathaway is a student at the Community College of Rhode Island. Police charge a South Kingstown man with drunken driving after his truck is clocked at 15 miles per hour on Point Judith Road.

URI Student Charged With Drunken Driving Christopher Patrick Carchia, 20, of 42 Community Drive, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 12:05 a.m. on Jan. 2 and charged with drunken driving. Police said Carchia is a student at the University of Rhode Island. According to police, an officer clocked a green Dodge pick-up driven by Carchia at 15 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone on Point Judith Road near Westlake’s Gas Station. Botelho, 21, of 22 Catherine St., Apt. #1, Newport, was arrested at about 11:50 p.m. for a Second Division District Court warrant and cited for violating the town’s open container laws. Police said the warrant stemmed from a charge of disorderly conduct. According to police, they received a report of a loud party at 11 Cavalier Avenue. Resendes, 37, of 1111 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 9:19 a.m. on Dec. 15 and charged with domestic assault, domestic larceny and domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone. Two Cited for Fighting at Spinnaker Court Alexander J. Babock, 21, of 290 Willard Ave., Wakefield, and Anthony Maier, 24, of 26 Indian Head Drive, Sayville, NY, were cited for fighting at about 2:08 a.m. on Dec. 1. According to police, based on interviews the two got into a verbal fight during a car ride home about New York. When the car stopped, the two traded punches near Spinnaker Court.
