A Cumberland woman is charged with reneging on a deal for an armoire.

Cumberland Woman Arrested for Armoire Stolen in January Kathryn E. Draper, 41, of 3311 Mendon Road, Cumberland, was arrested at about 8:56 p.m. on Sept. 14 and charged with issuing a fraudulent check under $1,000 in value. According to police, in January they received a complaint from a Narragansett woman about a stolen armoire. The woman told police that the buyer – Draper – had arranged to purchase the armoire via Craigslist, but the check she had issued bounced.
