Scuffle, Screaming Leads to Citations on Ocean Road

Police charge two men with disorderly conduct after noticing blood on them, and after one won’t stop screaming. Narragansett police logs from April 17, April 18 and April 19, 2013.

Alleged Fight Leads to Two Being Charged With Disorderly Conduct At about 2:25 a.m. on April 19, police received a report of a loud fight in the area of 812 Ocean Road. According to police, as they arrived at the residence, they stopped a grey Ford Escape, which was attempting to leave the driveway. Police said that a passenger in the car – URI student Joshua P. Engels, 20, of 184 Boon St., Narragansett – was shirtless, had scratches on his body and blood on his hands. Narragansett Police Log: December 1, 2012

Police cite some for fighting, some for drinking and some for licenses.

Unless otherwise noted, information about the following incidents was supplied by the Narragansett Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. Two Cited for Fighting at Spinnaker Court Alexander J. Babock, 21, of 290 Willard Ave., Wakefield, and Anthony Maier, 24, of 26 Indian Head Drive, Sayville, NY, were cited for fighting at about 2:08 a.m. on Dec. 1. According to police, based on interviews the two got into a verbal fight during a car ride home about New York. When the car stopped, the two traded punches near Spinnaker Court. Narragansett Police Log: October 17 and 18, 2012

A Narragansett man adds drunken driving, second offense, to his other court charges of cyberstalking and fighting.

Narragansett Man Charged With Drunken Driving (Again) Joseph A. Blainey, 23, of 40 Overlook Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 12:51 a.m. on Oct. 17 and charged with drunken driving – second offense – and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, an officer saw a green Mercury Grand Marquis swerving on Point Judith Road near Foddering Farm Road. As a result, a traffic stop was made near Sunset Farm. Police said that while speaking with Blainey, he smelled strongly of alcohol. When asked where he was coming from, he told police, “A big party.” …

Narragansett Police Log: October 10, 11 and 12, 2012

Four are cited for fighting at the Bon Vue Inn, allegedly over the New York Yankees.

Four Cited for Fighting at Bon Vue, Charlie O’s, New York Yankees Blamed Steven D. Morotta and Nicholas Castellano, both 21 and of 63 Kingstown Road, Narragansett, and Anthony Bochichio and Jeffrey J. Olson, 22 and of an unknown address, were cited at about 12:40 a.m. on Oct. 12 and charged with fighting.  According to police, they received a report of four men fighting at the Bon Vue Inn. Narragansett Police Log: September 19, 20 and 21, 2012

Police cite three for fighting, and arrest others for marijuana and child support violations, and warn another about the shower show he’s providing.

Three URI Students Cited for Fighting at Coast Guard House Rainford Geovani Thomas, 22, of 24 Green Lane, Narragansett, and Connor G. Fiske, 20, and Jordan A. Fiske, 21, of 15 Short Road, Barrington, were cited for fighting. Police said all three are students at the University of Rhode Island. According to police, they received a report of a fight in the parking lot of the Coast Guard House. According to police, four are arrested following a fight at the Coast Guard House.

Four Arrested Following Fight at Coast Guard House According to police, four men were arrested at the Coast Guard House following an incident at about 12:43 a.m. on Aug. 25. Police said when they arrived, staff at the Coast Guard House had identified a group of about 10 to 15 people on the north deck that they wanted to leave the bar because of a small fight. Police noted that the group was slow to leave, despite repeated requests by staff and police. A Pawtucket man and a beach supervisor are both charged with drunken driving following traffic stops.

Pawtucket Man Charged with Drunken Driving Eric A. Marques, 27, of 106 Memorial Drive, Pawtucket, was arrested at about 1:20 a.m. on July 18 and charged with drunken driving. According to police, an officer traveling behind a blue Oldsmobile on Boston Neck Road near Gardenia Lane saw the car drifting while driving about seven times in a 1.2-mile span. A traffic stop was made near Edgewater Road. Kaboom! – Property on Boston Neck Road Cleared of Bomb Threat with C-4 According to police, they assisted in maintaining order during a potential bomb disposal on Boston Neck Road shortly after 6 p.m. on July 17. Police said the new owner of 934 Boston Neck Road called the Narragansett Fire Department, the State Fire Marshal and a bomb squad after finding a suspicious object in a dumpster.
