DUI Arrest, And Citation For Pellet Gun

A Narragansett man is cited for disorderly conduct after his neighbors tell police he threatened them with a pellet gun. Narragansett police logs from May 5 and 6, 2013.

Narragansett Woman Charged With DUI Jana-Gae M. Turner, 55, of 1344 Ocean Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 2:10 a.m. on May 5 and charged with drunken driving, and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, an officer monitoring traffic on Point Judith Road near Maridee Bait and Tackle clocked a Ford Focus at 29 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. Police said that the car was also swerving, and as a result, a traffic stop was made near Palm Beach Avenue. Police said that while speaking with Turner, she smelled strongly of alcohol. Police …

Scuffle, Screaming Leads to Citations on Ocean Road

Alleged Fight Leads to Two Being Charged With Disorderly Conduct At about 2:25 a.m. on April 19, police received a report of a loud fight in the area of 812 Ocean Road. According to police, as they arrived at the residence, they stopped a grey Ford Escape, which was attempting to leave the driveway. Police said that a passenger in the car – URI student Joshua P. Engels, 20, of 184 Boon St., Narragansett – was shirtless, had scratches on his body and blood on his hands. Vanilla Bean Thief Pleads to Charge

Police catch Joseph Bianco, 24, for a robbery at the Vanilla Bean after his apartment burns down in Narragansett.

Joseph Bianco, 24, now of 2015 Birch St., Scotch Plains, NJ, and formerly of 56 Meadowrue Trail, Narragansett, and 108 Boon St., Narragansett, pleaded no contest on March 19 to a South Kingstown police charge of breaking and entering into the Vanilla Bean in August 2011. Bianco was ordered to pay $450 in assessments, and a deferred sentence was imposed. According to South Kingstown police reports included in court files, in August 2011 someone broke into the Vanilla Bean while it was closed. Narragansett Man Charged With Drunken Driving Ryan F. Bresnahan, 24, of 39 Conch Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 1:48 a.m. on March 8 and charged with drunken driving, and cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, an officer saw a car driven by Bresnahan accelerate quickly from a stop sign at Old Pine Road and Juniper Trail, screeching the tires in the process. Narragansett Teen Charged With Domestic Disorderly Conduct Benjamin K. Sekator, 18, of 66 Tupelo Trail, Narragansett, was arrested at about 2:34 a.m. on March 7 and charged with domestic disorderly conduct. According to police, based on an investigation of Sekator’s actions and statements from two family members, it appeared that he had ingested a substance and had a reaction to it, breaking a mirror in the process. Gray, 25, of 101 Cleveland St., South Kingstown, was arrested at about 1 a.m. on Dec. 11 and charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct. According to police, a 58-year-old Narragansett man reported two men and a woman arguing with one another in the street near Coffey Avenue. Two Cited for Fighting at Spinnaker Court Alexander J. Babock, 21, of 290 Willard Ave., Wakefield, and Anthony Maier, 24, of 26 Indian Head Drive, Sayville, NY, were cited for fighting at about 2:08 a.m. on Dec. 1. According to police, based on interviews the two got into a verbal fight during a car ride home about New York. When the car stopped, the two traded punches near Spinnaker Court.
