NHS Soccer Hosting Pancake Breakfast

Enjoy a pancake breakfast by the water on Sept. 22.

The Narragansett boys’ and girls’ soccer programs are hosting a pancake breakfast by the water at the Mettatuxet Yacht Club on Sept. 22. The fun starts at 7:30 a.m., and runs until 11 a.m. Bicycle kick your way down there for some good eats! (Sorry, I couldn’t think of a good soccer-related pun.) Pasta Dinner Being Held for South County Wrestling

All proceeds will go toward the South County Youth Wrestling college scholarship fund.

NARRAGANSETT – South County Youth Wrestling will be holding a pasta fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mettatuxet Yacht Club. Tickets cost $10 each, or $5 for children 10 and under. There is a flat $30 rate for families of four or more. You can pay at the door, and checks can be made out to SCYW. The food is all-you-can-eat, buffet style, with pasta, meatballs, bread, salad, soft drinks, coffee and baked goods. (The group is also looking for any baked good donations from parents, hint hint.) The yacht club is on South River Drive. From Route 1A-North (Boston Neck Road), take a left on to Mettatuxet Road, which is across from Twin Willows. Follow Mettatuxet to the end, and then take a left on to South River Road. …
