Jordan, 56, of 55 Juniper Trail, Narragansett, was arrested at about 10:42 p.m. on Sept. 1 and charged with drunken driving and carrying a weapon while intoxicated, which is a felony. According to police, a caller told a dispatcher that a man in a black GMC pickup truck had almost struck several pedestrians while driving north on Ocean Road. Police found a truck matching the description on Boston Neck Road, and made a traffic stop near the town beach parking lot.
