Two Pounds of Pot Found at Home of URI Students
Police said marijuana, Adderall and cash were found after executing a search warrant at a Sea Lea Drive home on Wednesday morning.
According to a release by Narragansett Police Detective Lieutenant Sean Corrigan, officers seized two pounds of marijuana and Adderall pills at 10 Sea Lea Drive after serving a search warrant at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday. The tenants were identified as Luke Rathbone, 22, Scott Saypol, 21, and Dylan Campagna, 20. All three were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, a felony. Saypol was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (Adderall). Rathbone and Campagna are being held without bail, pending a status hearing on March 14. According to police, Saypol agreed to enhanced bail conditions, and his bail was set at $30,000 with surety. However, he had not posted it as of Thursday morning. According to the …

With due respect, they had TWO POUNDS of marijuana. They're not using that amount recreationally, and if marijuana were legal, they would find another illegal way to make cash they don't have to report to the IRS.   more ›
