SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Narragansett Police arrested two local teenagers on Saturday, April 7 around 11:30 p.m. after finding them in possession of a black 2002 Nissan Altima that was stolen from Old Mountain Lanes the previous night. After bowling with friends on Friday night, a 17-year-old South Kingstown boy reported his car was missing from the bowling alley parking lot at around 1:06 a.m. on Saturday. According to South Kingstown Police reports, the two teens arrested, Alexander X. Blunt, 18, of 73 Wright Ave., and Angelo E. Fraley, 19, of 121 Old Shannock Road, Charlestown, were seen on video surveillance inside of Old Mountain Lanes. South Kingstown police arrested Joanna Toole, 41, of 184 Arlington Ave., Warwick, Feb. 29 at 9 a.m. on a charge of breaking and entering into a building during daytime, a felony. According to reports, a South Kingstown town employee contacted police to report a woman who had broken into a shed at the Peace Dale Library on Kingstown Road. The worker noticed the door to the shed, which is attached to the library, was open and when he investigated, he found Toole sleeping under blankets next to a bottle of vodka that had spilled all over the floor. South Kingstown police offciers arrested John R. Caruso, 22, of 60 Winterberry Road, on Feb. 19 at 12:13 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police stopped Caruso’s truck on Route 1 north after allegedly clocking it traveling at 101 mph. According to police, Caruso did not slow his truck for about a mile between Wintman Drive and Bridgetown Road, where he took the exit and headed toward Narragansett. Caruso finally stopped his truck on Bridgetown Road about 120 feet across the Narragansett town line, but police said he did not fully initiate the brake and the truck continued to roll forward as police pulled Caruso from the truck. A Wicked Innovations employee reported on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 1:29 p.m. that someone stole about $200 worth of aluminum and steel scrap metal from the Liberty Road shop. After police spoke with neighbor and they checked their yard, they noted more than $1,000 in missing scrap metal. The scrap metal at both properties was unsecured. Police are investigating a lead. Suspended License Charges Matthew J. Pincince, 28, of 51 Ram Island Road, Charlestown, was arrested on Feb. 17 and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on Feb. 21. Anthony Randall, 22, of 2 Joy Lane, Narragansett, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 13 at 1:24 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence, first offense .15 or greater, after he was stopped for speeding on Route 1. According to reports, as police followed Randall’s truck he swerved across the fog line on two occasions. He also allegedly smelled of alcohol and admitted to police he drank a couple of beers at the Mews Tavern in Wakefield early that night. After failing field sobriety tests, Randall was cuffed and back at the station he registered a .191 and .176 blood-alcohol content. Joshua M. South Kingstown police arrested Melissa A. Kisilywicz, 31, of 65 Pershing Road, on Feb. 11 at 9:27 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test. According to reports, Kisilywicz told police she had been at the South Kingstown Police Station just a few minutes earlier to pick up her friend, Heather Anne Chirnside, who was arrested on similar charges just two-and-a-half hours earlier. Since police had not yet processed Chirnside, Kisilywicz decided to take her 13-year-old daughter in the car with her and drive to D'Angelo's on Old Tower Hill Road to pick up her 4-year-old daughter. Nayman, 20, 204 Worden’s Pond Road, South Kingstown, on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9:45 a.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving in possession of a controlled substance, and a felony count of possession of a controlled substance. Police stopped Nayman’s vehicle for speeding on Ministerial Road and, according to reports, saw clear plastic bags and smelled marijuana in the car. After police found Nayman’s license was suspended and placed him under arrest, they found Adderall pills in a locket around his neck. He was arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on Feb. 9. A 17-year-old Wakefield boy was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 2:30 p.m. and charged with four felony counts of gun possession and two misdemeanor weapons charges. Police stopped the SKHS student in his gray pickup truck after reportedly watching it exit a driveway on Old North Road with no plate. The truck allegedly smelled like marijuana, although police found none in car. After a search of the truck, police found two knives accessible to driver and seized them. They also seized two gums after finding a loaded rifle and an unloaded shot gun behind the drivers’ seat. Police also found about $30 worth of ammunition. South Kingstown Police arrested Emad A. Makki, 26, of 171 Legend Rock Road, on Friday, Feb. 3 at 1:32 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence, first offense, BAC unknown. Police allegedly watched Makki’s car swerving on Tower Hill Road and attempted to stop his Jeep, but Makki allegedly continued travelling along at 50 miles per hour. According to reports, the officer activated his siren and allegedly saw Makki turning repeatedly to look back at the police cruiser, still without pulling to the side of the road. Eventually Makki stopped his Jeep and police, smelling alcohol on him, asked him to step outside of his car for a field sobriety test.
