South Kingstown Teen Charged With Stealing Car
Anthony J. Lovechio, 18, is charged with taking a car after drinking and getting into a fight with a family member.

Lovechio, 18, of 57 Dawley Way, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 9:04 p.m. on Oct. 1 and charged with larceny greater than $1,500, for a stolen car. According to police, first shift officers on Oct. 1 were told of a stolen 2011 Toyota Rav 4 from a home on South Jerry Cove Road. The owner, a 78-year-old South Kingstown woman, made a report at about 7:45 a.m. Police said that independently of the woman’s report, another officer had found an abandoned Honda Accord, registered to a family member of Lovechio, on Route 1 near Jerry Brown Farm Road.
