The Hammerhead Grill is located upstairs in the same building as The BonVue Inn on Ocean Road, next door to Aunt Carrie's. Stunning ocean views can be seen from nearly every table due to the many windows throughout the restaurant. A beautiful outside deck allows for seaside al fresco dining during summer and early fall months. Known for its fresh seafood entrees, The Hammerhead Grill won 2nd place in Newport's annual Great Chowder Cook-off in 2010. It serves a full lunch and dinner menu from early May until late October, as well as a delicious breakfast menu on weekends. The restaurant is open year round, and during off-season months customers can enjoy dinner on Friday evenings and breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sundays.
