Kingston Station

On the heavily traveled Northeast Corrider, the historic Kingston Station has operated continuously since 1875. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. Sixteen Northeast regional Amtrak trains per day stop at the station. The Acela trains do not stop but do pass by daily at 150 mph. The station also houses the Rhode Island Railroad Association Museum, which is open to the public on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. or by appointment.
