Your Guide: Summer's End Festival This Sunday

Everything you need to know to enjoy a specific local weekend event!

Leaves are starting to fall, kids are back in school, the air is getting cooler and the smell and taste of all things pumpkin reign supreme. There's no denying the Summer of 2013 has come to a close, but that doesn't mean there isn't time for one more festival!

Summer's End Festival

Postponed from Sept. 22, the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce will hold its 11th Annual Summer's End Festival from 12-5 p.m. at Narragansett Town Beach on Sunday, Oct. 6.

The rain or shine event will feature a kite flying demonstration, local food trucks and vendors, beer and wine, as well as a merchant marketplace.

From 2-4 p.m., guests will enjoy a live concert featuring Brass Attack, Rhode Island's "hottest horn band" who will be performing from the North Beach Clubhouse deck!

Admission to the festival is free, however a $5-per-vehicle parking donation is requested in designated lots.
