South County Celebrates Fall This Weekend

Farms throughout the area host hay rides, pumpkin picking, corn mazes and haunted happenings in honor the season this weekend.

As the once-green leaves turn shades of orange and red, there's no doubt that fall is upon us.

And with just a couple of weeks until Halloween, it's a great time to venture out to local farms and check out their recent crop of pumpkins, or grab a bag or two of apples for apple pies. Or get a good scare in a haunted hay ride or corn maze.

Here's a brief list of farms in and around SOunth Kingstown and Narragansett, and what they're offering, that we found on PumpkinPatchesandMore.org — you can also check out Farm Fresh RI for more information, including hours and directions.
