Monday Essentials: Pension Talks, Back to School and More

Today is Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 and here are a handful of things to know about the week ahead.

Food Truck Night: Wrap up summer by enjoying à la truck dining on Narragansett Beach this evening tonight (Monday, Aug. 26) from 6-10 p.m.! A variety of local food trucks will congregate at Narragansett Town Beach for hungry passer's by. Eddie’s BBQ, Go-Spresso, Pizza by Fire, Roxy’s Lobster, Shucking Truck and Blue Lobster will be there serving food. Don't miss out on this mouth-watering good time!

Gansett Pension Meeting: The Narragansett Pension Board will hold a Special Meeting/Executive Session at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27 in the large board room at Town Hall (25 Fifth Ave., Narragansett). Click here to view the meeting agenda.

Free Concert at the Commons: From 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, head to The Village at South County Commons in South Kingstown to enjoy an evening of free live music from, the The Vinyl Grooves, a 6-piece rock and R&B band with both male and female lead vocals that covers all genres of music with a unique spin!
