Visiting Narragansett - Share Your Early Morning Entertainment Ideas

Residents of Narragansett and South Kingstown, I just received the following request and was hoping to get your input:

"I will be coming to the Narragansett/Scarborough area this weekend and staying for a week with my family. They like to sleep in and I like to get out in the morning – are there any places you could suggest to check out while I’m waiting for my family to get up?"

As residents and local experts of the area, what would you suggest?

Our Facebook fans have offered up the following suggestions. Leave yours below in the comments!

  • Lauren Kelly: Even grabbing a coffee and taking early morning walk on the beach is great!
  • Meghan Murray: Java Madness for a coffee. Sit on the deck and check out the boats docked at the marina. Also, nothing better than an early morning walk!
  • Heidi Maria: Blackpoint is a nearby hiking spot...and theres always the morning walk on the wall...good coffee and breakfast at Crazy Burger!
  • Michelle St.Sauveur: Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge is a nice place for a morning hike.
  • Alfred Aniello: Walk the beaches. Bike path to ride on... try Wakefield for lot's of things of interest. This place is really cool and if you like history and older homes you will like the walks. Java madness too.
  • Lexi Henshel: Walk along the paths at black rock, near Scarborough. if you're up early enough, is a great place to see the sunrise! Just stay off slippery rocks! Enjoy your visit!
