Are you steppin'? The Steppin' Out of the South Kingstown Senior Center meets every Friday at 9:30 a.m.

Aw, fun activities, for your toddler! Need to bring your toddler out of the house for a bit? Maury Loontjens Memorial Library in Narragansett is hosting at 10:30 a.m.

Aw, fun plays, for your kids! Need to bring your kids out of the house for a bit? Theatre by the Sea is hosting the Crabgrass Puppet Theatre of Jack and the Beanstalk at 10 a.m. and noon. Both performances are $10.

Take the ferry ovah! There is for Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce members at 1 p.m. on Block Island. The cost is $27 per adult, and $15.50 per child 12 and younger.

Book discussion that happens to take place in the afternoon, not book discussion about afternoons. The group at 2 p.m. at Peace Dale Library.

BLOOOOOD! Get your sugar levels up after giving blood by taking advantage of the 's proximity to Brickley's in Narragansett today. The fun starts at 3 p.m.

Not to be confused with the competing band Yachtpie. Boatcake at 6 p.m. at Gazebo Park in Narragansett, right by town beach, as part of the summer concert series.

Experience fine cinema! The Kingston Free Library film club meets at 7:30 p.m. to Brassed Off. It's a well-reviewed film that had Kobayashi from The Usual Suspects in it. (It's a British comedy though, just for the record.)

Blogging, events, letters, what more could you want? Many people often ask me, “Hey are you the Patch guy?” And the answer is yes, yes I am. Then, most often they want to know how they can get things on the site. Let me present you with three options:

(Note: You might want to search for your event first, since we do have a calendar editor that adds things on her own awesome initiative.)
