There are a slew of events for families Friday, and also, it's Triple H's birthday.

Awww, what fun! Maury Loontjens Memorial Library in Narragansett is toddler time at 10:30 a.m.

A children’s festival at Theatre by the Sea! There will be comedy and a variety show at the theatre at 10 a.m. and noon. For more info, click .

Free lanterns! There will be a free lantern creation workshop 1 p.m. Friday, in preparation for a parade in Jamestown on Sunday. For more info, click .

Learn about nature! There will be a guided nature walk from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Kettle Pond Visitors Center in Charlestown. For more info, click .

“The important thing is not to stop questioning.” – Albert Einstein. Frosty Drew’s free public observation night runs from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. tonight. For more info, click .

They believe they can fly. Peter Pan is at URI’s Will Theatre at 7 p.m. For more info, click . Tickets start at $15. The show is being put on by Rhode Island Youth Theatre. There is also a showing at 10 a.m. – Click for info.

A nice, grown-up film club. Potter Productions, the film club of the Kingston Free Library, is a viewing of Mostly Martha at 7:30 p.m. The movie is German and rated PG, and is about what happens when a headstrong chef suddenly has to take care of her 8-year-old niece. (The American remake was called No Reservations, and starred Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart.)
