Tuesday’s Sports Schedule and Monday’s Results

MONDAY’S RESULTS

  • In a local matchup, Prout girls’ cross country beat Narragansett 22-37 but lost 19-41 to Westerly. Narragansett lost 18-45 to Westerly. Prout improved to 4-4 in the South Division, while Narragansett fell to 3-5. Westerly improved to 6-2.
  • In a local matchup, Prout boys’ cross country beat Narragansett 19-42 and Westerly 15-50. Results from Narragansett vs. Westerly were unavailable. Prout improved to 7-1 in the South Division, while Narragansett fell to 3-4 and Westerly fell to 2-5.
  • Narragansett varsity girls’ volleyball (8-1 Division II-South) won 3-0 against Warwick Vets (0-8 Division II-South). Junior varsity won 2-1.
  • Prout varsity girls’ soccer (3-4-1 Division I) lost 1-0 to East Greenwich (5-0-2 Division I). Junior varsity won 3-0.
  • Prout varsity girls’ tennis (4-5 Division I-B) beat the Lincoln School (0-8 Division I-B), 6-1.
  • Prout varsity girls’ volleyball (8-1 Division I-South) won 3-0 against Classical (2-7 Division I-North). Junior varsity won 2-1.
  • South Kingstown girls’ cross country beat Chariho 20-43 but lost 21-36 to North Kingstown. The split moved the Rebels’ record to 7-1 in the South Division, while North Kingstown improved to 8-0 and Chariho fell to 5-3.
  • South Kingstown boys’ cross country lost 23-38 to Chariho and 17-44 to North Kingstown. Chariho lost to North Kingstown. The Rebels fell to 5-3, while Chariho improved to 6-2, and North Kingstown remains perfect at 8-0.

  • Pier School girls’ soccer (0-4 Southern Division) hosts Davisville (4-1 Southern Division) at 3:30 p.m.
  • Pier School boys’ cross country (2-0 Southern Division) hosts a meet at 3:15 p.m. with Wickford (1-0 Southern Division) and Westerly (1-1 Southern Division).
  • Prout varsity boys’ soccer (5-0-1 Division III) hosts Burrillville (3-1-2 Division III) at 3:30 p.m. Junior varsity is at 5:15 p.m.
  • Prout varsity girls’ tennis (4-5 Division I-B) plays at Barrington High School (1-7 Division I-B) at 4 p.m. Junior varsity hosts North Kingstown at 3:30 p.m.
  • South Kingstown varsity field hockey (2-5 Division I-South) hosts Barrington (6-0-1 Division I-North) at 3:45 p.m.
  • South Kingstown varsity boys’ soccer (4-2 Division I) hosts Chariho (1-4 Division I) at 6 p.m. at Curtis Corner Middle School. Junior varsity plays at 4 p.m. against Chariho at Tuckertown Park.
  • South Kingstown varsity girls’ soccer (3-1-2 Division I) plays La Salle (3-1-2 Division I) at 7 p.m. at Cimini Stadium. Junior varsity plays at 5:15 p.m.
  • South Kingstown varsity girls’ tennis (1-7 Division I-A) hosts Cranston West (1-7 Division I-A) at 3:30 p.m. at the Broad Rock courts.
