Rhode Island's Boys and Girls headed to South County to get their game on.
South County Hoop Fest
Last weekend boys and girls from ages nine through fourteen get their game on, showing off their special talents and love for the game of basketball all in the name of fund raising.
South Kingstown played host to Rhode Island youth to raise money for the Friends of South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund. More than 80 teams joined the tournament from all over Rhode Island.

Scholarship Award
Each year the Scholarship is awarded to a South Kingstown High School senior. Money from the fund also helps provide South Kingstown's children who normally wouldn’t be able to participate the opportunity to attend sponsored activities such as summer basketball camp, as well as art and tennis camps sponsored by the town. Â
