ROUNDUP: Timpson Raises $7,000, Sabetti Crafts Lesson Plan

A roundup of some of the senior projects at Narragansett High School.

According to Narragansett High School senior Chris Timpson, his senior project to raise money for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation resulted in about $7,000.

Timpson said the walk on April 7 at the Narragansett High School track had about 200 people. The donation money came from entrance fees and business sponsorships, he said, and after the cost for things like t-shirts, he expected the donation to be about $6,000 to $6,500.

Timpson still has some t-shirts left – If you’re interested in purchasing one, shoot an e-mail to cdtimpson@cox.net.
