Run 'Gansett Run! – 10 Miles of Smiles

Hot, humid, rain or shine the Blessing of the Fleet rolls on with a 42 year streak. The Town of Narragansett is #RunStrong!

After picking up my bib at the Narragansett Middle School, ye olde stomping grounds,  I drove the course early Friday and saw all the houses along way getting their tents and BBQ's ready for the start.  It's an awesome sight to see so many families, friends and gnomes* line the streets to cheer on all the passing feet. The local community support is what makes The Blessing of the Fleet the best 10 mile road race in Rhode Island! Cheers to you all.

Thanks to the medical-tent team for their service. I know for a fact - they do a great job.

BIG thanks to all volunteers and the Narragansett Lions Club for organizing another good run -  fried dough, beer tent, and live music always makes for a good finish. See you all next July. Run 'Gansett Run!
