Two South County Men Indicted on Child Molestation Charges

The Washington County Grand Jury has indicted two South County men on charges of child molestation. 

Jamie Ratti, 57, of Oakwoods Drive in South Kingstown and Roman Comer, 34, of Tefft Hill Road in Wyoming were indicted on Friday after they both allegedly molested a girl under the age of 14 back in 2008 in Narragansett. According to reports, Comer also assaulted the victim with a knife.

Ratti faces two counts of first degree child molestation while Comer faces one count of first degree cild molestation, three counts of second degree and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.

The two men were arraigned in Washington County Superior Court with bail set at $10,000 personal recognizance. Both were ordered to have no contact with the victim. Their pre-trial conference is scheduled in Washington Country Superior Court for November 1, 2013.
