The launch, which is one of the most popular in the state, was rebuilt at a cost of about $670,000. The new launch is bigger and can accommodate people with disabilities. It was originally scheduled to reopen in the spring.

Officials on Friday held a ceremony marking its reopening, WPRI.com reported.
