Trial Starts in Superstorm Sandy Stabbing Death of South Kingstown Man
Mandell Tripp was accused of killing Kevin Brown to death.
A trial started Monday in the case of a South Kingstown man who was stabbed to death during Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
Authorities said Kevin Brown, 37, was killed Oct. 29, 2012 in Westerly.
Mandell Tripp, of Westerly, was accused of stabbing Brown to death, ABC6.com reported. Tripp told authorities Brown broke into his girlfriend's home and the pair got into a fight.
Tripp's trial was scheduled to begin Monday in Washington County Superior Court, WPRI.com reported.
