State Police Log: SK Men Arrested for Failure to Appear in Court

A collection of various Narragansett and South Kingstown-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

Lincoln Woods Barracks

  • On Sept. 27 at 4:45 p.m., Troopers arrested Joseph Calmore III, 28, of 81 Rivers Height, Wakefield, on a Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving Without/Expired License by the Narragansett Police Department. 

The arrest was the result of checking a road walker on Rt. 95 in the City of Providence. Calmore was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released.

Scituate Barracks

  • At 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 28, Troopers arrested Michael Burke, 27, of 3439 Kingstown Rd., Kingston, for 1) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Wickford Barracks 2) and Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the North Providence Police Department. 
Burke was transported to Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
