State Police Log, Oct. 2013: DUI, District Court Bench Warrant

A collection of various Narragansett and South Kingstown-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

Wickford Barracks

  • On Oct. 2, at 9:42 a.m., Troopers, arrested Christina Gutierrez, 25, of 164 Allen Ave., South Kingstown, RI, on a Fourth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Driving Under the Influence/First Offense-BAC Unknown, originating out of Narragansett Police Department. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95. Gutierrez was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and was later turned over to Fourth Division District Court.

  • At 12:46 a.m. on Oct. 3, Troopers arrested Sharon L. Wylie, 52 of 41 Lewis Ln., Wakefield, RI, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence – B.A.C. Unknown/ 2nd Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 2nd Offense. 
The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the report of a possible drunk driver and subsequent motor vehicle stop of the vehicle on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich. Wylie was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and misdemeanor released with future 3rd District Court dates.
