State Police Log, Oct. 2013: DUI, Failure to Appear in Court

A collection of various Narragansett and South Kingstown-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

Wickford Barracks

  • At 7:53 a.m. on Oct. 20, Troopers arrested Joseph Reynolds, 66, of 52 Desano Dr., Narragansett, RI, for 1) DUI of Liquor or Drugs 1ST Offense- BAC Unknown, 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- Second Offense, 2) Driving on a Suspended License- Certain Circumstances. 
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 1, in North Kingstown, following several 911 calls to the Wickford Barracks advising of an erratic operator. Reynolds was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment.

Lincoln Woods Barracks

  • At 2:35 p.m. on Oct. 29, Troopers arrested Stephen Reels, 55, of 302A Curtis Corner Rd., South Kingstown, RI, on a Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Conspiracy originating out of the South Kingstown Police Department. 
The arrest was the result of Troopers checking on a suspicious party on Colfax Street in Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
